North Korea fired “several” cruise missiles from its west coast into the Yellow Sea, based on South Korea. South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) stated that the missiles had been fired on the morning of January 24. The missiles had been fired a day after North Korea demolished a serious monument, informally referred to as the “Arch of Reunification”.
