Dumka: A Spanish girl, who was allegedly gang-raped in Jharkhand’s Dumka district final week, mentioned on Tuesday that she has no complaints towards the individuals of India as she has safely travelled round 20,000 km throughout the nation. Speaking to reporters earlier than leaving for Nepal by way of Bihar alongside along with her husband on their bikes, she mentioned she would proceed her world tour.

“People of India are nice. I don’t blame the people, but I blame the criminals. People of India have treated me very well, and were very kind to me,” she mentioned. The 28-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped at Kurumahat in Hansdiha police station space, round 300 km from state capital Ranchi, on Friday when she was spending the night time in a tent alongside along with her husband, police mentioned. “We chose the place for the night stay because it was calm and beautiful. We thought it would be okay if we lived there alone,” she mentioned.

 “I have good memories from India”

The girl mentioned that she has been travelling for greater than six years. “We have been in India for the last six months and travelled around 20,000 km. We did not have any problems anywhere. This has happened for the first time,” she mentioned. “I have good memories from India,” she added. The girl mentioned that she would proceed her tour alongside along with her husband.

“I want to tell some people, especially girls, to coach themselves to face such situations. I know it’s hard and it’s not easy. You don’t forget, but you have to keep trying to leave it in the past,” she mentioned.

Dumka’s Superintendent of Police Pitamber Singh Kherwar mentioned the couple left for Bihar, from the place they may enter Nepal. The survivor’s husband thanked the police for quick motion. Three individuals have been arrested to this point, and a search is on for the remaining 4 accused, police mentioned.
