India mauled Japan 35-1 after beating Malaysia 7-5 to enter the semifinals of the boys’s Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifiers right here on Thursday.

With two wins on the day, India completed second within the Elite pool desk with 12 factors, and earned a direct qualification for the semifinals. They play within the second semifinal of the match on Saturday.

In their first match of the day, India gained a closely-contested match in opposition to Malaysia with Gurjot Singh (seventh, eleventh, seventeenth, twenty ninth, thirtieth) scoring 5 targets. Maninder Singh (twelfth) and Mohammed Raheel (twenty first) have been different Indian scorers.

Malaysia scored by means of Arif Ishak (sixth), Ismail Abu (seventh), Muhamad Din (eighth), Kamarulzaman Kamaruddin (twenty sixth) and Syarman Mat (thirtieth).

Against Japan within the second match, it was mayhem with the Indians raining targets at will. Maninder (1st, third, fifth, sixth, ninth, fifteenth, twentieth, twenty fourth, twenty fifth, twenty ninth) scored a whopping 10 targets whereas Mohammed Raheel (third, 4th, eleventh, twelfth, seventeenth, twenty sixth, twenty sixth) struck seven occasions.

Pawan Rajbhar (2nd, sixth, tenth, thirteenth, twenty third) and Gurjot Singh (twelfth, twentieth, twenty first, twenty seventh, thirtieth) scored 5 targets every, whereas Sukhvinder (4th, eighth, sixteenth, twenty second) struck 5. Captain Mandeep Mor (18th, twenty third, twenty ninth) was on the right track whereas Jugraj Singh (fifteenth) acquired one.

For Japan, Masataka Kobori (twenty ninth) scored their lone purpose.
