Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik spoke to the Indian crew after their Asian Games gold medal triumph and introduced a money prize of INR 5 lakh for every of gamers and help workers

Congratulating the Indian Men’s Hockey crew for his or her historic Gold Medal on the nineteenth Asian Games in Hangzhou, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at present introduced a money award of Rs 5 lakh every for gamers and help workers of the victorious crew.

The money award was introduced to acknowledge the Indian Men’s Hockey crew’s stellar efficiency to win the coveted Gold and seal a berth for the Paris Olympics 2024.

Patnaik spoke to the Indian crew over video name after the medal ceremony. The crew was ecstatic to obtain the non-public congratulations from the Chief Minister, stated a press release issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

“My heartiest congratulations to the victorious Indian Men’s Hockey Team. Their unwavering dedication and hard work have once again proven that Hockey is truly India’s game, embodying our nation’s unyielding spirit. In Odisha, where Hockey holds a special place in our hearts, this historic day will forever be etched in our memories as a momentous triumph for our beloved sport and our nation. I wish the Indian Team the very best as they prepare for the Paris Olympic Games next year,” stated the Chief Minister within the congratulatory message.

India’s triumph ends a nine-year-long wait to complete on the highest on the prestigious quadrennial occasion. In 2014, India had overwhelmed nemesis Pakistan to win Gold.
