Entebbe [Uganda], December 18 (ANI): Zimbabwe and Uganda ladies’s cricket groups sealed their locations within the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier following their outstanding performances within the Africa Qualifier.

Uganda and Zimbabwe have been undefeated within the group stage and went on to win their semi-final clashes in opposition to Tanzania and Namibia respectively to seal their place within the T20 World Cup Qualifier.

Concy Aweko led Uganda workforce struggled throughout their conflict in opposition to Tanzania within the semi-final. They have been caught at 5/3 in 5 overs after being put to bat.

The African pair joined Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Sri Lanka, Thailand, UAE, USA and Vanuatu on the ten-team Global Qualifier, which can decide the ultimate two T20 World Cup 2024 spots.
The T20 World Cup will probably be held in September and October in Bangladesh subsequent 12 months.
The hosts (Bangladesh), in addition to Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies are already confirmed entrants on the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2024. (ANI)
