Meanwhile, Shakuntala and her daughter Shivani have been passing by and Chote Lal was urinating alongside the roadside when the accident befell.

Soon after the accident, native staged a protest on the highway demanding the arrest of the truck driver, who was at giant on the time of submitting this report. Police someway managed to pacify the protestors and clear the route for site visitors by 9 pm. Following the accident, assistant superintendent of police Shashi Shekhar Singh additionally reached the spot.

“The truck has been impounded. However, the truck driver is on the run. He will be caught soon,” mentioned the SP whereas including that the our bodies have been despatched for autopsy and additional probe is underway.

Taking cognisance of the incident, chief minister Yogi Adityanath put out a tweet condoling the deaths. He expressed deep sorrow over the lack of lives within the highway accident.
