The Similipal National Park in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district will stay closed for vacationers on May 4 and 5 in view of President Droupadi Murmu’s go to, officers mentioned on Tuesday.
Murmu, who might be on a three-day go to to Mayurbhanj, is scheduled to spend the whole day on the nationwide park on May 5, they mentioned.
“This is to tell all of the guests/vacationers that entry into Similipal Tiger Reserve might be closed for 2 days on May 4 and May 5 for guests/ vacationers automobiles attributable to go to of Hon’ble President of India. There might be no entry or exit from the Tiger Reserve for guests/ vacationers automobiles through the interval,” said a notification.
This will be the first visit by a president to the park, which is spread over an area of 2,750 km.
A most of 60 automobiles with vacationers are allowed each day to the park by means of its two gates, officers mentioned.
Murmu will reach here on May 4, and visit her in-laws’ village Pahadpur in Rairangpur sub-division.
