CM slams suspension of TMC MP from Parliament
Mamata slammed the suspension of TMC MP Derek O’Brien from Rajya Sabha together with 13 others from the Opposition ranks and alleged that it occurred for elevating their voice towards the Parliament safety breach.
“Derek O’Brien (TMC MP), and 14 other opposition MPs were suspended from Parliament for this,” she mentioned.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Saturday had rejected options that the suspension of 13 opposition members was linked to their protests over the safety breach subject.
