Five folks have died and over 120 hospitalised as a consequence of an outbreak of diarrhoea in Rourkela metropolis, a well being official mentioned on Sunday.

Every day over 25 to 30 diarrhoea sufferers are being obtained at Rourkela Government Hospital, mentioned Sudharani Pradhan, director in-charge of the hospital.

“We have not found any common source for the spread of diarrhoea. Our medicine specialist believes this could be a viral one,” Pradhan mentioned.
