Congress youth president Haris Nalapad has been booked for organising a protest with hearth torches on Tuesday night time (January 23). The High Grounds police have booked him for allegedly making a public nuisance by holding a rally with out the mandatory permission from the police division.

Based on a criticism by inspector Bharath B., an FIR has been registered in opposition to Nalpad and others, charging them underneath Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections 143 (illegal meeting) 188 (Disobedience to an order lawfully promulgated by a public servant), 283 (Danger or obstruction in a public manner), 285, (Negligent conduct with respect to fireside or flamable matter), 290, (public nuisance) 341, (wrongful restrain) and 149 (offence dedicated by the members of illegal meeting) in opposition to them.

The accused held an enormous rally in Bengaluru after Rahul Gandhi and Congress employees have been stopped from coming into Guwahati metropolis in Assam through the Manipur to Mumbai Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. The protesters carried hearth torches and raised slogans in opposition to the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
