Chhattisgarh: Shots had been fired at Congress MLA Vikram Mandavi’s convoy when he was coming back from Chhatisgarh’s Gangalur village on Tuesday afternoon. Mandavi alleged that photographs had been fired on his convoy in a village within the insurgency-hit Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. A police official knowledgeable that nobody was harm within the incident and a probe has been initiated. The miscreants shot on the automobile of District Panchayat member Parvati Kashyap, who was a part of the convoy. Congressmen had been returning after holding nukkad sabha in Gangalur Haat market.
Maoists fired on the convoy
Bastar Inspector General of Police Sunderraj P knowledgeable that Maoists fired on the convoy of the MLA and nobody was harm in it.
Talking to reporters, Mandavi stated he had gone to attend a nukkad sabha in Gangalur weekly market and was returning to Bijapur when photographs had been fired close to Padeda village.
The bullets hit a wheel of a automotive belonging to Jila Panchayat member Parvati Kashyap, who was within the convoy. Luckily, nobody was harm within the incident, he stated, including that the police had been knowledgeable about his go to.
