Alone At Home as Parents Went To Vote, Girl Raped And Murdered In Odisha – News18

A person allegedly raped a seven-year-old woman and killed her when she was alone at house as her mother and father went to solid their votes, police stated on Sunday.

The incident occurred at a village in Kuliana police station space in Odisha’s Mayurbhjanj district on Saturday, they stated.

The 23-year-old man went to the woman’s home, and took her to close a river the place he allegedly raped her after which strangled her to demise, they added.

Villagers discovered the physique of the woman and caught the accused. They later handed him to the police.

A case was registered underneath part IPC sections 376AB (rape) and 302 (homicide), an officer stated.
