A poster-design contest was organised by The Hindu in School and NMDC Limited on the State Art Gallery in Madhapur, Hyderabad, on Sunday. The competitors witnessed the participation of 541 college students from 72 colleges in junior and senior classes.
The contributors designed posters on 4 matters, with the theme ‘Swachhata’. GM, Corporate Communications-NMDC Limited, Jayaprakash counseled the scholars and oldsters for his or her enthusiasm. The successful posters had been chosen by JNAFAU’s M.L. Anand Rao and famend artist K. Padmavathi. During the occasion, Prof. Anand Rao expressed his admiration for the wealthy and various expertise pool in Hyderabad and counseled the artists’ means to make use of posters as a medium for expressing their ideas and feelings.

In the junior class, Pardhi Jalan, NASR School, Khairatabad, received the primary prize, with Laasya Sri, Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, on the second place and Heerajavignay Ladi, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Atmakuri Ramarao School, Jubilee Hills, within the third spot. Consolation prizes got to seven contributors every within the two classes.
The prize distribution ceremony is scheduled for November 14 on the company workplace of NMDC Limited at Masab Tank. The winners will obtain money prizes in every class, together with certificates of advantage and shields.
