A SpiceJet flight with a vacation spot of Patna was diverted to Varanasi because of brake issues, sources mentioned on Saturday. At 8.30 a.m. on Friday, the aircraft was supposed to the touch down at Patna airport after taking off from Delhi. But because it received to round 50 kilometres from Patna, close to the town of Arrah, the brake malfunctioned.
As the runway of Patna Jay Prakash Narayan International airport is smaller than different airports, the pilot refused to land there regardless of the permission given by ATC, after which the plane was diverted to Varanasi.
